Benefit Concert- October 2024

This year's benefit concert at the Sons of Erin was another great success!

Many thanks to the Sons of Erin, the two awesome bands, the vendors who provided delicious treats and entertainment, the many hard-working volunteers, our generous sponsors and everyone who attended the concert and helped us to honor our veterans!

Special thanks to the event committee headed by Kathleen Duquette for their many hours of work to make this event a success.

Below are photos of our fun event including the setup, vendors, fun being had at the concert, the 100+ raffles and The Friends volunteers.

The General Gist band was a big hit!

The setup process: many hands make light work!

We had a great variety of entertainment and treats from some great vendors: Patriotic Tribute by Lisa & Dave, the General Gist Band, Willy Dog Hot Dogs, North Elm Butcher Block, Saucy Mama, Wandering Waffles, Patty Cakes. Special thanks to Ice Cream Emergency for providing guests with free ice cream!

Thanks also to the State Police, Soapy Noble, and the Thunderbirds mascot, Boomer.

Guests enjoyed the music, food, the kids' table, the Soapy Noble bean bag toss and socializing during our annual benefit concert.

There were over 100 awesome raffle prizes! The grand prize raffles included: Smith & Wesson Equalizer, a two hour scenic flight over the Pioneer Valley, a custom-made statue of a soldier carrying a wounded brother, Kenley Jansen autographed baseball, tickets to Patriots versus Rams game, a will legal package, set of 2 custom made Adirondack chairs and a beautiful hand carved fish.

Winner of the two hour scenc flight!

Thanks to the many hard-working volunteers who helped with raffle prizes, parking, setting up, selling tickets, staffing our merchandise table and cleanup at the end of the day.
