M-  Wreaths Across America Ceremony and Wreath Laying

December 13- Wreaths Across America Day

“We are not here to ‘decorate’ graves. We’re here to remember not their deaths, but their lives.”

– Karen Worcester, Executive Director of Wreaths Across America

We’d like to thank the approximately 3,000 volunteers who helped lay wreaths at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam last year!

The Wreath Laying will be open to the public. There is no need to sign up to volunteer to lay wreaths.

Please sponsor wreaths using the QR codes found in the flyer below or use this link:  https://www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/pages/159760/Overview

Because of the tremendous response expected again this year, we ask that participants arrive at Six Flags early to board the King Gray shuttle buses to the cemetery. Shuttle service will begin at 8:00 a.m., the last buses will depart Six Flags at 9:30 a.m.

Implementing an end time for shuttle service will ensure that the Wreaths Across America ceremony begins on time.

The meaningful ceremony honors veterans from each branch of the U.S. military and reminds us of the true purpose of the day.
