2026 Calendar of Events
The Friends General Meetings:
The public is welcome to attend our general meetings to learn about what we do, our accomplishments and volunteering with "The Friends".
Our general meetings are on the third Wednesday of March, June and September. Attend for a chance to win a free door prize! We're also welcoming the public to share memories of veterans you've known or your own experiences while serving in the U.S. military.

M- Wreath Retirement (Wreaths Out)
(Working in teams with a pole or broomstick makes it easy to collect many wreaths quickly.)

January 15, 2026- Wreaths Retirement (Wreaths Out)
All are welcome to help us remove the ~10,800 wreaths at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam!
No need to sign up! Bring a long pole (not required), broomstick, rake, or even a roof rake!
Working in teams with long poles makes it easy to collect wreaths quickly.

The MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam
Meet in front of the Admin building to wait for instructions.
PARKING:
Please park in the cemetery parking lot or behind the admin building if space is available. If you must park on the cemetery roads, please park on the right side close to the curb so emergency vehicles can get through if needed.
