Burial Benefits
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts operates two veterans cemeteries, the first of which, the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam, was established in 2001. Since then, due to the dedicated staff and volunteers, there have been over 10,000 interment ceremonies at the Cemetery.

Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) is an online memorial that honors nearly 10 million Veterans interred in VA National Cemeteries, VA grant-funded cemeteries, DoD-managed cemeteries (including Arlington National Cemetery); U.S. Park Service National Cemeteries, and thousands of private cemeteries where Veterans have received a VA-provided gravesite marker since 1996. VLM provides a National Gravesite Finder Tool found at the link below:
