A beautiful new fountain has been installed at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam!

The MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam administrative staff worked with The Friends to select the fountain and plan the installation. The Friends of the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam, with help from generous donations from President J F Kennedy Council 5585 and Archbishop Williams Assembly 388, purchased the new fountain.
The MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Agawam grounds crew prepared the land prior to Anthony Russo building the base. Many thanks to Anthony for donating his labor and to Chicopee Concrete Services for generously donating the concrete for the pad.
This collaborative effort stands as a testament to the power of community and shared purpose. Each hand that contributed—from those who envisioned the fountain’s beauty to those who shaped the earth and laid its foundation—has left a lasting mark on the cemetery grounds. Their dedication has created a place of tranquility and reflection, honoring the memory of our veterans with every drop of water cascading into the new basin. The generosity of local organizations and individuals has not only brought this project to fruition but has also strengthened the bonds that unite all who cherish this sacred space. May this fountain serve as a symbol of gratitude, remembrance, and hope for generations to come.
